From humble beginnings in vineyard management, John Truchard, second-generation Napa Valley vintner and founder of the Butter brand, used the skills passed down from his father to launch his own vineyard management business—perfecting his craft and saving to one day plant his own vineyards and create his own wines.

John and Michele Truchard open the JaM Cellars Wine & Music Studio in downtown Napa, completely reimagining the traditional tasting room.
