Be Festive Not Frenzied This Christmas Eve

Decorating for Christmas with JaM Cellars chardonnay

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

and all through the house…the bubbles were chilling and so were we. That’s because we hacked our Christmas Day prep with these super simple tips!!

• Make one last trip to the store. Plan ahead for the things that ALWAYS surprise us; an extra bag of ice, a box of candies for unexpected gifts, and an extra bottle (or case) of Butter Chardonnay for when Aunt Janie arrives early to show you how to make cranberry sauce. And don’t forget cookies for Santa…

• Pre-chill bottles of Toast Sparkling. That extra bag of ice comes in handy here. There’s never enough room in the fridge, so stock Toast in an ice-chest on the back deck. You’ll want cold bubbles to kick-start your morning!

• Overnight French Toast. Don’t miss present-opening! Have this super-simple Overnight French Toast waiting for you to throw in the oven while the unwrapping party rocks on.

• Stream the Santa Tracker. Cozy up and tune into the Santa Tracker to see where in the world the Big Guy is heading…you’ve been nice, right!? Even if you haven’t, those cookies you bought and a glass of Butter might sway him into leaving you a gift, or two.

Stress less, and merry more!! Wishing you and yours a festive season, filled with warm hearts and full glasses!

Recipe: JaM'n Berry Baked Brie

Baked brie in pastry with bottle of JaM Cellars wine

Holiday Yumminess

Not of a lot of things say, "holiday yumminess" like a baked brie in pastry. This one’s even easier to love:

  • 3 ingredients

  • 5 minutes

  • Dee-licious with #JaMCab

INGREDIENTS

1 tube of refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 round of Brie cheese
2 tablespoons cranberry sauce

…Oh and a bottle of JaM Cab (all this bakin’ is makin’ me thirsty)!

METHOD

1 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2 Slice the top off the brie

3 Lay crescent rolls on a lined baking sheet

4 Spread cranberry sauce on the brie, fold dough over brie (oops a splash of my JaM Cab MAY have landed in the cranberries…)

5 Bake at 350ºF (175°C) for 30 minutes, pastry should be golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Serve with bread, crackers, apple slices and #JaMCab.
